Welcome to Umusa Skip Hire! These Terms of Service govern your use of our skip hire services. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Definitions

  • “We,” “Us,” “Our” refer to Umusa Skip Hire.

  • “You,” “Your” refer to the customer or user of our services.

  • “Skip” refers to the waste container provided by us for rental.

2. Service Agreement

By hiring a skip, you agree to:

  • Pay for the service in full via EFT or cash before or upon delivery.

  • Provide accurate delivery and collection details.

  • Comply with all terms regarding the use of the skip.

3. Use of Skips

  • Skips must not be overfilled. Waste must not exceed the top rim or indicated markings inside the bin.

  • Prohibited items such as electrical appliances, gas cylinders, asbestos, medical waste, paint, solvents, liquids, fuel, and hazardous materials are not allowed.

  • No fires may be lit in or near the skip.

  • The skip must remain at the agreed placement location and should not be moved.

4. Rental Periods

  • Rental options include weekly (1–5 days) or monthly durations.

  • Additional charges may apply for late collections or extensions beyond the agreed rental period.

5. Delivery and Collection

  • We will deliver the skip to your specified location and collect it upon request or at the end of the rental period.

  • Additional drop-offs and collections will incur extra fees, payable upon delivery of the empty skip.

6. Payment Terms

  • All payments must be made in advance via EFT or cash.

  • Invoices must be paid in full before delivery, and proof of payment must be sent to us with the invoice reference number.

7. Liability

  • We are not responsible for any damage or injury caused by improper use of the skip or the placement site.

  • You are responsible for ensuring the skip is used safely and in accordance with our terms.

8. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to terminate our services if you breach these terms, including but not limited to the improper use of skips or non-payment.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with local legal procedures.
